I like to create recipes with nutritious ingredients that make us feel good! The estimated nutritional information of the recipes can be found at the end of the book. The numbers aren’t next to each recipe as they may be triggering to someone who has struggled / is struggling with an eating disorder.
I have IBS, irritable bowel syndrome, and that’s why I eat a gluten-free & lactose-free diet and no onions or garlic. High-FODMAP ingredients are marked in the recipes with “*”, and low-FODMAP swaps can be found at the end of the book. If you don’t have IBS / coeliac disease / gluten intolerance, you can of course use regular products in my recipes instead of gluten-free products. Same with lactose-free products; use only if needed. Also, you can add garlic & onions to the savoury recipes if you like, I have added them into brackets to recipes where they would be a great addition!
Healthy Eats That Taste Like Treats contains 100 quick, easy, nourishing and delicious recipes! There are 35 breakfast, 15 snack and 50 dessert recipes in the book. All the recipes in the book are gluten-free & lactose-free. If you aren’t coeliac/intolerant to gluten/IBS sufferer, you can of course use wheat flour in the recipes.
The recipes are also IBS-friendly. If a recipe contains a high-FODMAP ingredient, there’s always an IBS-friendly ingredient swap included in the recipe!
50% of the recipes are also vegan, and another 20% can easily be made vegan just by switching the milk/yogurt to a plant-based option.

I follow you on YT and you are the ONE person who creates recipes that are simple to make , super yummy AND NUTRITIOUS!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Because of you I make snacks in batches, meal prep which allows me to eat smart! I am a Registered Nurse and know the value of nutritional foods. Being on the run should never be an excuse for poor eating habits. Thank you Selma. I am sharing your social links with family, friends, and coworkers because anyone can prepare your recipes! Thank you again!
All the pictures in the E-book have details and are perfectly presented. Almost all of the ingredients I would have lying around in the house. My family loves all of your recipies thanks for all you do ❤️❤️❤️
I have a desire to eat healthily, but I find it challenging since I am quite a selective eater. I didn’t find pleasure in eating “healthy food” because it was tough to find recipes that were nutritious yet still tasted delicious. However, Selma’s recipes both satisfy my sweet tooth and don’t make me feel guilty eating them! I am grateful to have found a way to be health-conscious without sacrificing taste. Selma’s recipes helped me discover my inner foodie, and for that, I am truly thankful.
I’ve been following you for two years now and was waiting for you to make an Ebook since it’s a lot easier to read and find the recipes from the book than on IG! I’ve started meal prepping lately and the meal prep breakfast recipes have been so delicious, especially, the banana bread baked oats😍
Hi! I'm Selma!
I’ve been sharing my recipes with a community of over 3 million people, driven by my own journey with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Diagnosed at 15, I started creating meals that wouldn’t trigger my symptoms, and a few years later, I felt inspired to share them with others facing similar challenges.
Over the past six years, my focus has evolved into creating healthier alternatives, using nutritious ingredients without compromising on flavor!
