5-ingredient Healthier Ice Cream

Looking for a creamy, high-protein treat that actually tastes like dessert? This 5-ingredient Healthier Ice Cream has been all over social media — and for good reason! Made with cottage cheese (yes, trust the process!), it’s packed with protein, perfectly creamy, and naturally sweetened.

Each serving has around 15g of protein, making it a great post-dinner treat or even a fun snack. It’s also super easy to make — no ice cream machine needed!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups (lactose-free) cottage cheese (250 g)
  • 1 cup mixed berries, I used blueberries & raspberries (2.4 dl)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • optional: 3 tablespoons milk of choice (to help your blender to mix it)

Instructions:

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until creamy
  2. Pour into a container
  3. Freeze for 2-3 hours (no longer than that or it gets icy!)
