Healthy Oat Waffles

Ingredients:

1 egg

1 teaspoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup almond milk (1.2 dl)

2/3 cup (gluten-free) oat flour (1.6 dl)

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the egg
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine
  3. Spoon the batter into a preheated greased waffle iron. Cook the waffles until golden (about 3 minutes per waffle)! 
  4. Add your toppings, for example, Greek yogurt, berries and a little bit of maple syrup
